Revival of an Art Deco apartment complex with The Done Group saw a re-think of the floor plans of 24 two-bedroom apartments across two buildings. Apartments were refashioned into four layout types that increase natural light and flexibility in the use of space.

Walls between living rooms and one bedroom were replaced with a large sliding door/wall, making it a multifunction bedroom/dining/office area – still connected to the main living area, but with optional partitioning.

Original timber floors were renewed, kitchens and bathrooms were re-configured and upgraded in a palette of porcelain and terrazzo, while common areas were refreshed in harmony with the building’s heritage.

Courtyards were given new life by landscape architects 360, evoking the quaint English mews style of conjoined living.
